泰國醫(yī)療器械注冊之泰國醫(yī)療器械定義
根據泰國醫(yī)療器械法規(guī)（Medical Devices Act, B.E.2551 (2008) and (No. 2), B.E. 2562 (2019)），泰國醫(yī)療器械定義如下：
“medical device” means:
醫(yī)療器械是：
(1) a device, an appliance, a mechanical tool, an object inserted into the body, a
solution used for performing a test inside or outside a laboratory, a product, software or any
other object specifically intended by the manufacturer or owner to be used, for any one or
more of the following purposes, on human-beings or animals, whether independently from, in
conjunction with or as an accessory of any other article;
（1）設備、器具、機械工具、插入體內的物體、用于在實驗室內或室外進行測試的溶液、產品、軟件或制造商或所有者專門用于以下任何一項或多項目的的人或動物的任何其他物品， 不論是否獨立于任何其他物品、與任何其他物品結合或作為任何其他物品的附屬物;
(a) conducting a diagnosis, the prevention, a follow-up, a therapy, the
alleviation or a treatment of a disease;
（a）進行疾病的診斷、預防、隨訪、治療、緩解或治療；
(b) conducting a diagnosis, a follow-up, a therapy, the alleviation or a
treatment of an injury;
（b）對損傷進行診斷、隨訪、治療、緩解或治療;
(c) performing the examination, replacement, correction, modification,
support, backing or upkeeping in relation to anatomy or a physiological process of the body;
（c）進行與身體解剖學或生理過程有關的檢查、更換、更正、修改、支持、支持或保養(yǎng);
(d) performing life support or rescue;
（d）執(zhí)行生命支持或救援;
(e) conducting birth control or reproductive assistance;
（e）進行節(jié)育或生殖援助;
(f) providing assistance in response to, or providing compensation for,
infirmity or disability;
（f）為應對體弱或殘疾提供援助或提供補償;
(g) providing information from the examination of body specimens for a
medical purpose or for a diagnosis;
（g）為醫(yī)療目的或診斷提供身體樣本檢查的資料;
(h) performing disinfection or sterilisation of medical devices;
（h）對醫(yī)療器械進行消毒或滅菌;
(2) supplementary equipment for use in conjunction with a medical device under
(1);
（2）與第 （1） 項下的醫(yī)療器械一起使用的輔助設備;
(3) a device, appliance, mechanical tool, product or any other object prescribed
in the Notification of the Minister as a medical device;
（3）部長通知中規(guī)定的醫(yī)療器械、器具、機械工具、產品或任何其他物品;
provided that the achievement of the purposes of the articles mentioned under
(1) occurring in the human or animal body must not principally result from a pharmacological or
immunological process or a metabolic reaction;
但 （1） 所述物品的目的在人類或動物體內實現，不得主要由藥理學或免疫學過程或代謝反應引起;
以上是泰國醫(yī)療器械法規(guī)對醫(yī)療器械的定義，可以看出，與我國醫(yī)療器械法規(guī)定基本相同，但也有不一致的地方，比如，泰國醫(yī)療器械包含了動物器械，而我國醫(yī)療器械定義并不包括動物器械。
